[* 1] Turn on the printer and heat it to about 210 C, push the plastic ring at the top of the hotend coupling down, and pull the bowden out.
[* 1] Operational note: My coupling was old and worn in, so I had to unscrew it with the wire strippers and pull the coupling out before separating the two pieces.
